How Bower works

Capture the work. Scale the expertise.

Smart glasses capture scientific work as it happens, creating a rich record that teams use to guide, reproduce and transfer work.

From captured work to guided execution.

01/Capture

Turn captured work into a rich, reusable record.

Capture the techniques, observations and decisions that shape the work. Bower turns video, images and voice recordings into a structured, searchable record that can be reused across documentation, troubleshooting, training and transfer.

  • Capture video and images hands-free
  • Link voice observations to each step
  • Compare runs across scientists and sites

02/Guidance

Expert guidance, built into the workflow

Bower brings procedures, expert know-how and live support directly into the workflow, helping scientists perform complex work with greater consistency.

  • Follow protocols, step by step, hands-free
  • Get guidance tailored to the current step
  • Connect live with experts who can see the work

Knowledge that compounds

A continuous loop

Each run adds to what the team already knows, so expertise accumulates instead of staying with the person who developed it.

  1. Scientific work

    Captured as it happens

  2. Organizational knowledge

    Connected and searchable

  3. The next scientist

    Guided by what came before

Connect Bower to the systems you already use

Captured work becomes structured records that sync with the tools your teams already use.

Secure. Compliant. In control.

Built for sensitive environments

Scientific work is confidential. Bower gives organizations control over what is captured, where data lives and who can access it.

  • Capture is explicit

Recording is always visible and intentional, with clear consent and capture indicators.

  • Your data stays yours

Your organization controls its data, and it is never used to train external models.

  • Keep data where it belongs

Choose sovereign hosting, isolated deployment or your own environment.

  • Control who has access

Role-based permissions, MFA and audit logs govern who can view, share and export data.

  • Ready for regulated workflows

Designed to support GxP and regulated environments with audit-ready records and configurable governance.

Questions, answered

Do scientists have to wear the glasses?
No. Bower works with smart glasses and mobile devices, giving scientists flexibility to capture work in different laboratory environments. Smart glasses provide hands-free capture, while mobile devices offer an alternative where glasses aren't practical or permitted.
Is it always recording?
No. Scientists explicitly start and stop recording, with visible recording indicators and logged capture activity. Organizations control recording permissions and policies.
Can it go in a cleanroom?
Bower can be used in research and suitable controlled laboratory environments, subject to site requirements. We're evaluating PPE-compatible smart glasses and developing options for cleanroom and biosafety applications.
Does Bower replace our ELN?
No. Bower complements your existing systems by capturing how scientific work is actually performed. It creates structured execution records and supporting evidence that can be connected to your existing scientific data and documentation.
Can Bower support technology transfer between organizations?
Bower captures the practical know-how behind scientific methods and processes, making it easier to share expertise between sending and receiving teams. Remote expert support and execution records help receiving teams understand how the work was performed and troubleshoot differences.
Is our scientific data used to train AI models?
No. Customer data is not used to train external AI models. Bower is designed to protect confidential scientific information, with organizational controls governing access and data handling.
Is Bower suitable for GMP and regulated environments?
Bower supports guided execution, timestamped evidence capture and traceable scientific records. We are developing our validation and compliance capabilities to support regulated workflows, including applicable 21 CFR Part 11 requirements. Deployment in GMP environments is subject to your organization's qualification and validation requirements.
